The Ontario Health Quality Council (OHQC) and the Quality Improvement and Innovation Partnership (QIIP) are proud to join forces to support and further develop the quality of primary healthcare in Ontario. The advancement of the quality of primary healthcare will be a central aspect of this newly created organization called Health Quality Ontario (HQO). It will continue to build on the successful initiatives QIIP has spearheaded including the establishment of a learning community among primary healthcare practices which share and spread improvements and innovation.
- To introduce, integrate and spread quality improvement methods.
- To build a learning community among primary healthcare practices to share and spread improvements and innovation.
- To advance the use of performance measurement to plan, test and evaluate improvements in the organization and delivery of primary healthcare.
- To partner with other quality initiatives and programs related to primary healthcare.
