In December 2009, South East Toronto Family Health Team (SETFHT) received a HealthForceOntario Healthy Work Environments Innovation Fund Grant Program 2009/10. This project also included the collaborative efforts of a number of FHTs - CANES FHT, Credit Valley FHT, Etobicoke Medical Centre FHT, Markham FHT, North York FHT, Sherbourne FHT, Summerville FHT and Upper Grand FHT. As part of the deliverables from the “Creating a Healthy Workplace Culture to Support Organizational Wellness for the Interprofessional Family Health Team Members” project, we are pleased to share with you a number of resources that we hope you will find to be valuable as you develop your health and safety program in your FHT. A DVD was also sent to all the FHTs and NP-Led Clinics in the province but QIIP has agreed to host the materials on their website as well.
Please click on the links below to get access to the toolkits and resources:

We hope you find these resources to be useful – please feel free to provide any feedback or comments on the materials as we all have an invested interest in ensuring we are creating the healthiest and safest workplaces we can for our staff. Together, we can make FHTs the employer of choice for anyone interested in working in health care.
